The Scott Valley Pleasure Park Association is proud to present the 2023 Rodeo Royalty.
SVPP Rodeo Royalty invites the Siskiyou County community to celebrate the 75th Year of Rodeo on Sunday, April 30th, starting with the Rodeo Parade at 10:30am, followed by Youth Events at 12:30/1pm and Performance at 2:00pm.
SVPP Rodeo Royalty History
The rodeo royalty contest was started in 1958, when the Jr. Pleasure Park was organized by founder George "Dad" Dillman. The contest is based on western horsemanship, modified stock horse pattern, appearance, judges questions & personal interview, contestant personality, and queen run.
Queen and Princess will represent SVPP at all Pleasure Park events (May rodeo & parade and the July "old time rodeo.) They will assist in the arena and choose several outside events to attend as representatives of SVPP.
