Etna, CA, is located in the Scott Valley, a region in California's True north. The SVPP Rodeo arena is 45 minutes from Interstate-5 at Yreka, and is known for a tradition of rodeo and legendary beauty at the base of the Trinity Alps and the Russian Wilderness. Siskiyou County is known for iconic Mt. Shasta and its working ranches. The 78th Annual May Rodeo The May Rodeo is on Sunday, May 3th, with youth events at 12:00pm and Grand Entry and Performance at 2pm. Traditional timed and roughstock events include Mixed Team, Open Team and Breakaway Roping, Girls Barrel Racing, Ranch Bronc Riding, Wild Saddle Cow and Bull Riding. The 48th Annual Old Timers Rodeo The Annual Old Timers Rodeo will take place on Saturday, July 25th, with youth events at 3 pm, and Grand Entry and Performance at 5pm, followed by a Live Concert at 8:30 pm with the Marty Cobbs Band. This year marks the 48th year of the Old Timers Rodeo, and it promises to be a memorable one. "We have been preparing for months to make sure that everything runs smoothly and that everyone has a fantastic time.
