SVPP Rodeo Queen Details
The rodeo queen contest was started in 1958, when the Jr. Pleasure Park was organized by founder George "Dad" Dillman. The contest is based on western horsemanship, modified stock horse pattern, appearance, judges questions & personal interview, contestant personality, and queen run.
The 2015 SVPP Rodeo Queen Contest was held on April 25th at the SVPP Arena in Etna. The 2015 contestants must be 14 years or older by the competition date. To show each contestant is dedicated to competing in the Queen contest and are outgoing and friendly, each contestant is required to find $150.00 in sponsorships. The contestants are encouraged to sell SVPP memberships as well. The Sponsorship money is due April 24th. Please include a short biography of you and your horse for the announcers and newspaper, should you be placed on the royalty court.
