For 78 years, rodeo has been a tradition in Scott Valley. The Scott Valley Pleasure Park Board is proud to announce the 2026 Scott Valley Rodeo dates: Sunday, May 3, 2026 and the Old Timers Rodeo on Saturday July 25, 2026. These long-standing spring and summer rodeos continue to anchor Siskiyou County, bringing together local families, contestants, working cowboys and cowgirls, and visitors from across the West.
The Board of Directors will continue its steady leadership into 2026, maintaining a focus on fiscal responsibility, arena improvements, and strong partnerships. Our goal remains clear: produce high-quality rodeos that are competitive, safe, and welcoming, while preserving the legacy of Siskiyou County’s favorite rodeos for the next generation.
In 2026, the Scott Valley Rodeos will again feature a strong annual purse with added monies made possible by our sponsors and community supporters. Added monies ensure competitive payouts and attracting regional talent. Every banner on the chutes and the arena fence, and every local sponsorship, directly strengthens the rodeo, supports the athletes, and keeps the tradition of rodeo in Etna, CA
Rodeos at Scott Valley Pleasure Park are known for their open bench grandstands, close-to-the-action arena, and family-friendly atmosphere. Kids can watch from the lawn, families can gather under the trees, and generations sit side by side in the same seats year after year.
The setting is authentic, the competition is real, and the community support is visible. We look forward to welcoming you in 2026 as we continue a 78-year tradition in Scott Valley.
